After the Wedding Day
Full Gallery
I've been able to consistently deliver galleries to my couples by their 1 month anniversary. I do have 8-12 weeks delivery time in my contract just to cover me in case of an emergency, but over the last few years I have a system that works really efficiently for keeping everything timely.
You'll receive your full gallery the exact same way, and will receive an email that walks you everything for downloading them.
Sneak Peek / Blog Post
The week after your wedding, I'll be doing a sneak peek - a nice overview of your day. These will go into your blog post that you'll be able to share with your family and friends. I also upload those photos into your online gallery so that you can download them while you wait for your full gallery. This is great for if you want to use a photo for your thank you cards and want to get them ordered asap.

When do I get my photos?
You have the freedom to share your images in any way that you choose! These are your images, and I want you to love them so much that you can’t help but share them! I don’t believe that it is necessary to watermark my images most of the time (I do sometimes add my logo to the low-resolution images that are shared on your blog post and social media to hint that they are not high enough quality to print). If you’re using your high-resolution images on social media, I would love a shout out though! I discourage my clients from re-editing their images. Let me do the hard work! Also, if you have an image or two that you want to print at a very large size and you find an imperfection, I will gladly touch it up for you!
Sharing, Watermarking & Editing
I guarantee that your gallery will stay active for 12 months, and you'll be notified before it's removed. I recommend downloading your gallery and saving them in multiple places for safe keeping! I also keep your images on a drive for one year just in case you ever need them, but there is a $75 reactivation fee to reopen your gallery once it's been taken down!
Gallery Expiration
You can order professional and affordable prints from within your online gallery and have them shipped directly to your house! Prints are created in a professional lab to ensure color and contrast accuracy! You are more than welcome to print images on your own. However, I would warn you to avoid Walmart, Target and Costco. I cannot promise that your colors will print true-to-life if you choose to print at those stores. If you don’t print through your gallery, I recommend using Mpix.com (a pro-quality lab that's open to the public).
Ordering Prints
You’ll be able to download your images directly from your online gallery! This process is very simple and is explained in the email you'll receive. All you have to do is follow the link within the gallery delivery email. Password protection is available upon request. Within your gallery, you will find a download option (you can download single photos or the entire gallery). Individual photos will be downloaded directly to your “Downloads” folder. When you choose to download the entire gallery to your computer, you will be notified via email when the entire download is ready. It takes a few minutes to prepare for hundreds of images to be downloaded!
Downloading Photos
Years ago you had to order prints of the images that you wanted to have forever. That isn’t how I work around here! I want you to have ALL of your memories in your possession forever and ever! This is why I deliver the digital files via download to you. You will receive an online gallery so you can share your images freely and easily. This also means you’ll have access to them wherever you are! Here's some important information that will help you understand your online gallery and all that it can do.

Your Online Gallery
A couple once told me that they would grab their wedding album in their top 3 things if their house was ever on fire! Could they always build another wedding album if something happened to this book? Yes. However, there is something special about creating your first heirloom. We had their album made right after they were married and they treasure it! Having digital images is wonderful, but having a printed keepsake that tells a visual story of your wedding day is priceless! If you haven’t already invested in an Heirloom Album of your own, you can always come back to me at any time and order one. I’m not a photographer that pushes product sales at all. However, these albums are important not just for my couples to have… but for their children and grandchildren to enjoy as well.

You won’t have any problems picking out your parent’s Christmas gifts the year you get married! Your parents did so much to make your wedding a dream come true. Surprising them with their very own albums on Christmas morning is such an awesome ‘thank you’! After the wedding chaos is over and life returns to normal, or if you want to surprise your parents with their very own albums from your wedding for Christmas, let me know before October 1st (or as soon as possible if you have a fall wedding) so we can get them designed & ordered!
