Hello and Welcome! This is such an exciting time for you! I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very fun, but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating for so long and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! My goal as a wedding photographer is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple, and hopefully even help you with some of the parts as well. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing experience.
The goal of this guide is to help you plan your wedding day in a way that will allow me to provide you with the BEST photographic experience possible. Since we’re official now, the next step is to schedule your engagement session if you're having one and then start chatting about wedding day details as we get closer to your date!

My goal is to be a helping hand (like an extra bridesmaid!) that walks with your through this exciting season. This Lounge is dedicated to help you with the details – from vendor suggestions, engagement session planning, and wedding day tips!
step 01: the lounge
If taking advantage of an engagement session, this is when we will spend some time getting to know each other better, I will help you get comfortable in front of the camera, and of course – take photos that celebrate your love!
step 02: engagement Session
There are a lot of details that go into a wedding day, and I want to make sure I know about every single one. During this time, we will discuss all of these important details – from wedding day timelines to a must-have family shot list and more!
step 03: Details Appt
( 3-4 months before wedding)
This day is all about you! You've put in the time and work to make it as unique as your love story so every single second of it should be enjoyed! Leave it to me to capture every emotion, moment, and detail so you can look back on this joyous day forever!
step 04: wedding day
Once I have put the finishing touches on your images, I will place them in your gallery and send you a direct link. From this gallery, you can download & share your keepsake photos. There's also a store for anyone wishing to order prints directly & easily.
step 05: photo delivery
Photos weren't meant to be stored on your device. They should be admired in your home and bring warmth into your life. I offer albums & prints so you can cherish your favorite moments and memories forever.

- The reason I became a photographer, Nicolas Ryder, joined the world on May 9, 2006.

- We spent 3 weeks in Bali for our honeymoon, and it quickly became my favorite place ever!

You may not realize this but every photographer has parts of the wedding day that they favor! Here are my 3 favorites and why these moments are close to my heart!
Wedding Day Favorites
Portrait time with the couple is hands down one of my favorite parts of the day! This is when I really get to create those pieces of art that adorn your walls. I love the quiet and intimacy - like we are in our own little bubble for a small part of a chaotic day!
Couples Portraits
It may seem like an odd favorite, but the pure joy that radiates from the newlyweds as they turn around and take their first walk as a married couple is so contagious - it feels like there's nothing else in the world at that moment!
Recessional
Once all of the "formalities" of the day have wound down, it's really the time when you can almost feel any remaining tension melt away. It's just fun to be in the midst of good music with great people and capture fun (& often hilarious) photos of true personalities!
